Kevin McAdams Lead Commercial Lines Broker & Founding Partner

With over 20 years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry, Kevin McAdams ARM,AU is the lead commercial lines broker and founding partner of Lighthouse Commercial Insurance, Inc. Kevin began his career with Liberty Mutual Insurance in 1994, focusing primarily on workers compensation-driven business.

In 1997 Kevin was a founding partner of Summit Insurance Group, taking the company from a start-up agency at its inception to a large brokerage when it was acquired by First Niagara Risk Management in 2010. McAdams served as Regional Director of Insurance during his 2 1/2 years at First Niagara.

Kevin formed Lighthouse Commercial Insurance together with Drea McAdams in July of 2013. There he applies his 2 decades of knowledge and experience in the middle market commercial property and casualty market, while focusing on finding the most creative and cost-effective ways to manage his clients’ risk portfolios.



Drea McAdams, CISR is the Senior Account Executive and founding partner of Lighthouse Commercial Insurance, Inc. After working 15 years at Merck & Company in clinical and pre-clinical pharmaceutical development, Drea began her career in commercial insurance in 2006, joining Summit Insurance Group, first as an independent contractor, consulting on marketing and technical documentation, and then as a Client Account Manager.


In July of 2013, Drea formed Lighthouse Commercial Insurance together with Kevin McAdams. There she leads the service and marketing team with a focus on a nimble responsiveness to clients’ needs which cannot be found at larger agencies. Drea instills a philosophy of efficiency and creative problem solving in the team’s daily operations. She has also developed an expertise in personal lines coverages so that Lighthouse can offer its commercial clients a comprehensive risk control program.


Denise Flaherty Senior Account Manager

Denise Flaherty, ASI is a Senior Account Manager at Lighthouse Commercial Insurance, Inc. She brings over 15 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry to her role at Lighthouse.

Dense began her career at AIG as a customer service representative in personal automobile insurance and became licensed in Property and Casualty insurance while at AIG. She continued her career at Clair Odell Group, a large commercial insurance agency, as an Assistant Account Manager.


In 2003 Denise joined Summit Insurance Group as an account manager and managed a large book of commercial business, comprised of manufacturing and commercial construction accounts. When Summit Insurance was acquired by First Niagara Risk Management in 2010, she transitioned to First Niagara as a client account manager until joining the Lighthouse team in 2013.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from West Chester University. She also obtained the designation of Associate in Insurance Services and is currently working on obtaining her Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation.



After 10 years in the Dental/Insurance field, Keana joined the Lighthouse Team in 2016 as an Assistant Account Manager.  With her she brought an extensive background in customer service, which along with her dedicated personality makes reaching her goal of providing exceptional service possible.  Her daily commitments include but are not limited to certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, policy documents and administrative assistance.  Please feel free to contact her with any such request and she will be happy to assist!
